Ian Maksin is coming out with a new album of his original music for solo cello inspired by folk music from around the world as well as by music of Sting. The album also includes pieces that Maksin has commissioned from Ilya Levinson as well as other award-winning composers Paul Yeon Lee and Seth Boustead. 

The release concert will take place at Old Town School of Folk Music.
